The Artist

Wendelle Allado is a London based Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics Artist. She is a Filipino- American, originally from Los Angeles, California. Wendelle moved to London at 18 years old to pursue fashion. After getting her degree in fashion media and working in the industry as a stylist and creative director, she decided to try something new.

 

In 2017, Wendelle attended UAL’s London College of Fashion for BA Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics for Performance where she focused on making and designing special fx makeup. Wendelle has worked for the Royal Opera House in London and various opera and theatre productions as a makeup artist. During her BA, she found a strong interest in psychology and medical sciences, specifically Anatomy which are what her current works are inspired by.

Wendelle is currently attending Central Saint Martins for MA Art & Science where she plans to extend her research in medical sciences and create further prosthetic work.
